Those of us who own Laurel real estate, just got some more good news.

First the new law eliminating panhandlers at the intersection just outside the Laurel Maryland community of Russett.

And now, the Prince Georges County Council is going to stop the posting of those ugly We Buy Houses and Lose Weightsigns at intersections.  The posting of these signs will soon be illegal.

West Laurel’s own Tom Dernoga proposed this law.  Dernoga pointed out the law is not meant for temporary event or realty signs.  Companies that violate this law will be fined.  The fines will increase per infraction.

This is a great example of the Councilman Tom Dernoga keeping the Laurel community safe and clean.  These ugly signs detract from a neighborhood and lower home values.
