One of the things I like best about Laurel Md is the historical district.  The historical district in Laurel Md is located around the Main St. area.  You can find many historic homes just off of Main St.  Both Montgomery St and Prince Georges St  are lined with history.  This area contains a treasure of Victorian style homes.  These homes have beautiful porches to sit on and say “hi” to your neighbors as they walk by.  A great benefit of this location is that you can walk over to Main St and enjoy some food or shopping.  And don’t forget the old Laurel High School in Laurel Md.  Laurel High School was the first High School built in Prince Georges County.  Right now the city is looking to dedicate more sites as historic.
