The number of homes sold in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties has significantly increased over last year.

In Montgomery County Maryland, March home sales were up 15%.  This was followed by increases of 16% in May and a whopping 21% in June.

In Prince Georges County, home sales have increased in almost every month since the beginning of the year.   May of this year saw an increase of 28% more homes selling.

A couple obvious explanations for the increase are the lower interest rates and government incentives.  The number of foreclosures have also brought down prices.
