So many smart kids living in Laurel Maryland.

I just read in the Laurel Leader about Montpelier Elementary Science Bowl team taking first place in Prince Georges County Maryland.  This is the first time in the schools history it has ever finished first in the competition. 

Montpelier’s superior intellect was not their only attribute on display.  Montpelier elementary also showed its grit, coming from behind to beat annual power University Park elementary school.

According to the Laurel Leader, the competition has got the whole school pumped-up about the Science Bowl.  More students want to be on the team because of the success of the current team.
